Morgana by Adam Rutter

Morgana -

Her black robe,

Dark as night.

Evil, dark as her powers

Poker eyes burn hate

Through Camelot.

Treachery, terror, murder.

Merlin

Camelot’s protector

Strikes back.

Morgana casts a spell.

King Arthur falls into a trap,

Morgana’s aim-

Kill Arthur.

The Welsh wizard with

his long white beard,

In a long red robe comes to rescue.

Morgana’s face, ashen-white.

The friendly smile,

Her expression wicked

Her actions vengeful.

Entices Queen Guinevere

To plot against Arthur.

With a potion

To seize him.

Arthur falls off his horse

Thud.

But Arthur still lives.

Guinevere runs to the castle

Morgana heads for the forest

To wreak revenge.
