It's brilliant you're still creating, although from afar.

It's the 'Good Life' you're building, self-sufficient and wild

With Harold, the rooster, and his ten hens all beguiled

By the freedoms they enjoy by living free range

And you too, as you've discovered how to happily change

Your life to one simpler, as you pursue a new tack

We're sorry that you doubt you'll be coming back

But as you said in your letter, 'Never say never though!'

Who knows when the winds of 'Whimsy' might once again blow

And start you back writing between reading and quilting

And making your wonderful rag rugs - so inspiring!

And if you do write you know where to find us - still!
