A flicker of red -

A robin at my feeder

Brightens winter gloom.

Love the "flicker of red" to describe the Robin, conveys so much about their behaviour as well.as appearance. And the painting too 😍

I love this, Sue; it really encapsulates what a haiku is. I like how the robin's colour is contrasted with winter's bleakness -- juxtaposed, if you will. Great!
