I was sat ’tother day, in the dentist’s chair
Mouth wide open, feet in the air
Kicking and wriggling, not wanting to be there,
And I was thinking of Diana
Well, you might think that odd, until I tell you
She hates the dentist as much as I do
We’d rather be anywhere, even Tesco’s in a queue
Me and my friend - Diana
We’re very alike, it’s us birthdays you see
Well, they’re one day apart, but she’s younger than me
But we both share a love of poetry
So I’ve written this one for Diana
Oh we’ve shared a few laughs and we’ve shed a few tears
Had a lot of fun over twenty odd years
So this is a thank you, Happy Birthday and Cheers
And when you read this, think of Me!

I can just see Elaine reading this out! She’s a wonderful woman and still lives next to Nana Betty’s but Nana sadly, is no longer with us.
Love the gentle humour in this
