It varies in depth, shape and form
I think yes I do love you
But it is a strange new love, a cosy
love
Comfortable and warm.
Not like the fiery passion I once felt
In younger days where a hungry need
Had to be fulfilled.
Now I just need a look, a kiss, and a
light touch
To remind me you care
There is no hot burning desire there
Just a blanket of warmth.
Secure and safe is how you make me feel
The fire of love and cold of loneliness
is now
Left behind buried deep.

Wow, Kay. Your words really express the nature of love as it grows and matures and deepens with age. I found them most moving x
