 Confound these wretched wars

Let’s get it straight

They are all about territorial gains

Who is entitled to what

Who has the land-right

 

Never mind the deaths

It’s only women and children

And honest men young and old

Sacrificed on Gaza’s Killing Fields

To the whims of religion

 

If their God is at the core

Of this hideous ethnic cleansing

Which God will win?

Yehovah or Allah?

Will there be a reckoning?

 

But let’s face it

If this is a holy war

Where is love and goodness?

There is none to be seen

It’s rotten to the core

 

It’s Jews against Moslems

An attempt at obliteration

Yehovah against Allah

So what is the solution?

There must be a two-state Nation

 

It’s ironic that it’s Yuletide

A time of love

Of forgiveness and caring

After all it is the same God

Please someone, release the Peace-dove
